Privacy Policy
Effective July 30, 2026 · Applies to the Psychopathic app on iOS and Android
The Psychopathic app ("the app") is operated by Norse Tales Giveaways LLC ("we", "us"). This page explains what information the app handles and what we do with it. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run member accounts, we don't run ads, we don't track you, and we never sell your information.
What we collect
Account information. If you create a member account, we store your email address and a user ID, managed by Google Firebase Authentication. Your password is handled by Firebase and is never visible to us.
Purchases. Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We receive only your subscription status — never your payment details.
Chat content. If you use Family Chat, we store your chosen chat nickname and the messages you post. Chat is a public room shared with our websites and apps — anything you post is visible to everyone. You can delete your own messages in the app, and deleting your account removes your nickname.
That's the whole list. The app does not collect your location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers. News, tour dates, and festival content shown in the app are public content and involve no personal data. The Festival Companion map works fully offline on your device.
How we use it
- Your email and user ID exist solely to sign you in and unlock member content (the GOTJ Festival Companion, chat posting, and games as they release).
- Subscription status is used only to unlock the content you paid for.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or tracking across apps or websites, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
Subscriptions & billing (App Store and Google Play rules)
How billing works. The optional premium subscription is a monthly auto-renewing purchase billed by Apple (on iOS, via your Apple Account) or Google (on Android, via Google Play Billing). We never see or store your payment details.
Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Cancelling. Cancel anytime — iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues to the end of the paid period. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds. Purchases are refunded under Apple's and Google Play's own refund policies — request them through the store you bought from (Apple billing support · Google Play refunds).
Store data disclosures. Our Apple App Privacy label and Google Play Data safety form both declare the same thing: email address, user ID, and user content (chat messages and nickname), collected for app functionality only, never sold, never shared for advertising, with in-app account deletion available.
Deleting your account
You can permanently delete your account and its data inside the app, at any time:
- iOS: tap the account icon (top right) → Delete Account → confirm with your password.
- Android: sign in, open the members area, and use Delete Account, or email us at the address below and we'll delete it for you.
Deletion is permanent and removes your email, user ID, and sign-in data from our systems. Note: deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — manage subscriptions in your device's Settings (iOS) or the Play Store (Android).
Without the app installed: you can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing kirkcreason@creaso-norsetech.com from your account email — no reinstall needed. Requests are completed within 30 days. This page's address plus #delete is the deletion link we list on Google Play.
Service providers
The app relies on these providers, which process data on our behalf:
- Google Firebase (authentication and app content delivery) — Firebase privacy
- Apple App Store / Google Play (payments and subscriptions) — governed by their own privacy policies
Data retention & security
Account data is kept only while your account exists and is deleted when you delete your account. All communication between the app and our services uses encrypted HTTPS connections.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
